César Domela- Composition Plastique 5M (1926/1970, Framed Serigraph). Hand signed, dated, and numbered (#68/175) in pencil by the artist, "Domela 1926/1970" in the lower right corner. Cesar Domela was one of the youngest member of De Stijl, working closely with Theo van Doesburg and Piet Mondrian. This piece is a result of his work influenced by Mondrian’s neoplasticism.
The work was published by "Maison de la Culture, Bourges". It appears in the catalogue of the retrospective exhibition of Domela made by the Reekum Museum in Holland in 1990.Literature : Domela : Schilderijen, Reliefs, Grafisch Oeuvre, Van Reekum Museum Apeldoorn & Institut Neerlandais, Paris.Catalogue number 18 in page 74, illustrated.
