The chests are masterfully crafted from gorgeous flame mahogany and the tops have superb crossbanded decoration. They each have four drawers for convenient storage and the useful addition of a slide in each. There are striking brass handles on each drawer and the drawers are oak lined, a sure sign of quality. These chests are very versatile and would look equally good in the bedroom as bedside chests or in the lounge as end tables at either end of your sofa. The botanical name for the mahogany these items are made of is swietenia macrophylla and this type of mahogany is not subject to cites regulation. Condition: in excellent condition having been beautifully cleaned polished and waxed in our workshops, please see photos for confirmation.
