Vintage lamp formed from a molded fiberglass aviation style wing with a brushed metal base. Rare design on par with works from Ingo Maurer and the Memphis Design Group, Ettore Sottsass. Pinch form to fiberglass which is held together with large industrial style rivets. Brushed metal base is weighted and keeps the lamp stationary. Tested and functional though the switch is sensitive and may need adjusting. No structural issues to report - minor wear commensurate with age to base and lamp - one tight hairline to shade. Display ready piece.
