An exceptional Italian marble sculpture of a female torso, signed E.H.B. 80 on the base. Hand-carved from richly veined reddish-brown marble with natural striations of cream and green, this work masterfully balances classical sensuality with modern sculptural refinement. The smooth, voluptuous contours and highly polished surface emphasize the stone’s natural beauty and luminosity.
The torso and pedestal are separate pieces. The torso sits securely on the pedestal via a metal pin that allows smooth 360° rotation, making it viewable from every angle. The sculpture can be easily lifted off the pedestal for safe handling and transport. The cylindrical black lacquered pedestal provides an elegant contrast to the warm tones of the marble, adding height and presence to the composition.
