Hans Hopfer’s iconic Mah Jong modular seating for Roche Bobois, dressed in Missoni fabric with coordinating velvet cushions. Originally purchased from Roche Bobois in 2013, the cushions were acquired by us in 2017 and have lived in our smoke‑free home since. The Missoni floral print features oversized, graphic blossoms in soft greens, aqua, coral, cream, and black, paired with rich solid velvets for endless configuration options.
These cushions are designed to be used directly on the floor in true Mah Jong style and can be configured as a low sofa, lounge area, or daybed‑style platform. Endless combinations are possible, including seat cushions (approx. 37.4 in W × 37.4 in D × 7.5 in H), straight backs, and corner units. Back cushions measure approximately 38 in W × 21 in H × 12 in D for the straight backs, and 38 in W × 38 in H × 21 in D for the L‑shaped corner backs.
Total of 11 seat cushions, 2 corner backs, 1 fixed straight back, and 1 manually adjustable backrest. Overall very good used condition with professionally cleaned velvet cushions and structurally sound floral cushions that show some scattered staining and discoloration; please see photos for the most notable marks.
