A very fine carved giltwood antique mirror. Mirror is most likely a late 18th C. (possibly early 19th C.) Florentine Italian work. It is a beautiful work of decorative, and useful, art. Mirror is a contemporary addition- Note that the frame could easily be used without the mirror. One would simply need the appropriate Old Master or contemporary painting to substitute.
