Each piece is masterfully crafted in the form of a delicate sea snail or seashell, affectionately known as Snailware or Escargot porcelain.
The porcelain boasts a spectacular iridescent mother-of-pearl glaze, giving it a shimmering, pearlescent finish that shifts between pink, gold, and green. This luminous effect is beautifully contrasted by heavy, hand-painted gold gilt outlining the rim and the spiral shell details.
The set includes two tiny gold-plated miniature spoons and is housed in its original, elegant royal blue, silk-lined presentation box with a latch closure.
