This two-piece ensemble exemplifies mid-century craftsmanship in solid hard-rock maple and birch, finished in Ethan Allen’s signature Nutmeg Maple (Finish 225) — a warm golden maple tone prized for its natural luster and enduring appeal.
The buffet base features dovetail-joined drawers, arched panel cabinet doors, and original antiqued brass Chippendale hardware.
One top drawer retains the original burgundy felt liner printed “Ethan Allen Early American by Baumritter”, intended for jewelry or silverware storage.The drawer is branded “Ethan Allen by Baumritter – Made in Vermont.”
The hutch top offers two open display shelves with plate grooves, molded crown detail, and graceful side supports.
Both pieces retain their original finish and include the Ethan Allen Early American Furniture booklet for provenance.
