“In the Ruff” by Chae Flux presents a dynamic interplay of layered color and gesture. The composition features energetic drips and splatters in tones of orange, yellow, white, and black set against an earthy green background. The textured surface and directional movement create a sense of rhythm and immediacy characteristic of Flux’s abstract work.
The painting is housed in a distinctive diamond-shaped walnut frame, complementing the piece’s organic palette while enhancing its sculptural presence. Both refined and expressive, In the Ruff stands as a striking example of contemporary abstract expressionism.
Top of diamond width is 6”
24.5” wide. 47.75” tall.
