Multimedia architectural painting of the outside of a house in autumn by Linda Webb (American b. c. 1942). This piece features multiple different materials and techniques, with layers of watercolor, ink, and pen to provide different textural details. The top of the piece is coated in a varnish or other material which provides it with a shiny finish. A light green Victorian house is the center of this piece. A cracked concrete path leads up to the front of the house and trees with sparse orange and yellow leaves bracket it. The side of the house is close cropped and the vegetation surrounding it is rendered with detailed pen work, giving the piece a quiet and intimate feel.

Linda Webb (American b. c. 1942) is a multimedia artist who currently lives and works in Sonora, CA. Webb was active in the Monterey Bay area art scene throughout the 1970s-1990s. She exhibited at a variety of venues, such as the Wharf Gallery in Monterey, the Valley Art Gallery in Salinas, and the Ventura Art Gallery in Monterey. She worked as a children's art instructor in Watsonville in the 1980s. She is currently a member of The Aloft Gallery in Sonora, CA. See less
