A set of four original prints from the long out-of-print 1928 edition of Domestic Architecture in Rural France — a rare architectural folio capturing the vernacular beauty of Burgundy, Auvergne, Provence, Normandy, Brittany, and the Touraine.
Each plate was originally printed using lithograph, drypoint, pencil, and wash, revealing the precision and artistry of early 20th-century architectural drawing. The series depicts small châteaux, cottages, manoirs, windmills, and stone gateways, each rendered with quiet grace and an architect’s eye for proportion.
