Ramos was born in New York in 1967, but he lived in Puerto Rico (P.R.) for 30 years. His career started in college during the late 1980's where several galleries and collective art shows featured his mixed media. After his bachelor's degree in arts (1990) he continued participating in collective expositions, not only in Puerto Rico, but also in the USA, England, France and Europe. His first solo show "De Pared de Colgantes" was held in 1993 at Domus Gallery in San Juan, PR. with great reviews. The prestigious Biennial of Latin American & the Caribbean Engravings in San Juan, PR accepted his prints in 1993 and 1996.
