The stitcher worked classic motifs: full alphabet rows, hearts, potted flowers, birds, and a Federal-style house with checkerboard walk, all bordered in strawberry vines (a symbol of virtue in early samplers). Colors are soft colonial reds, dusty blues, sage, and wheat on natural linen. Presented under glass in a custom solid wood frame from Cross Patch of Raleigh, North Carolina, wired and ready to hang. Perfect for Americana, primitive, cottage, farmhouse, or historical décor, and beautiful as wall art over an entry table, bed, or mantel. Overall size (frame): approx 25.75" H x 26" W x 1.25" D.
