The … Read more This is a 19th century French Black Forest inspired carved oak planter. The white painted finish is not original. The zinc liner is removable. The carved faux bois frame is in very good structurally. It dates to approximately 1880. Black Forest finds are often Swiss or German, but this piece is purportedly to be French and typical of the Louis XV period. See less
