Offered is a handsome French Brutalist cement and cut glass table lamp by Jean Simon Labret.
This rare circular shaped French lamp has a cement shade with inset blue, green and yellow chiseled glass and a steel base. This lamp has been newly wired for the U.S. market.
Jean Simon Labret is a French artist from the 20th century, primarily known for his work with stained glass. His artistic contributions extend beyond stained glass, as he has also explored various media, including painting and sculpture. Labret's work has been featured in the book Le Vitrail (The Stained Glass), which covers his process of creating stained glass.
