A 1970's vintage landscape of a waterfall abstract and freestanding amongst a natural canvas background. Exquisite palette knife leans to an impasto detail amongst throughout the painting. The varied colors include tones of blue, a little turquoise and teal, along with burnt umber and brown.
The piece is not signed and the artist may be unknown to many, but she is well known by me, she's my late mother, Frances Cooper. I recall her painting in the mid-70's. The piece is vintage, so there's normal aging which brings character to the art.
Hope this is a "keeper" for your existing collection of waterfalls, landscapes or 70's vintage oil paintings.
