The still life original oil painting is replicating the impressionist style of late the French artists' work of Louis Pastour, "Anemones in Vase, 1932".. It's small size doesn't diminish its beauty! The moody colors of the flowers are in dark purple, deep reds, lavender and off white and are enhanced by the dark eggplant purple and hints of teal in the background. The artistic artists strokes create and impressionist to impasto style look to the piece. The artist signature is "Hutson" in the lower right hand corner.
