A beautiful and striking modular shelving unit designed by William Watting and widely attributed to producers in the Netherlands, circa 1960’s. This one bears the label of Illums Bolighus, a retailer in Copenhagen.
This piece is made of a combination of solid oak and teak veneer over oak. It consists of a free standing bottom shelf module and wall-mounted top shelves, resting on an and connecting to the bottom shelf back legs.
Upper shelves are 8-3/4” deep, held by a metal rod stretcher. and are adjustable in 2-7/8” increments up/down.
We have two of these pieces in inventory. They each have a mark on top of the lower shelf (see photos). If buying one, you can make a choice between the two.
