This stunning Whale Oil Lamp is estimated to be from around the 1850's. We suspect it may be a "Cornelius and Baker" but this is unverified. It used to be an oil lamp but has been converted to electric, and all of the wiring is brand new. Adorned with gold wash embellishments, including 3d squirrels and monkeys, as well as gold washed cameos. Made of bronze; it is quite heavy, weighing roughly 17 pounds.
A harp in the height of your choosing is included with the lamp as well as the matching bronze finial
It is 26 inches tall from the bottom to the top of the socket (height does not include the height of the harp with finial as this can be changed to fit the size you need) and 7 inches wide at its widest point.
