A magnificent 19th-century French Boulle vitrine of impressive scale and refined craftsmanship, richly decorated with intricate brass and tortoiseshell-style marquetry in the traditional Boulle manner. The cabinet features ebonized panelsframed with finely cast and chiseled gilt-bronze mounts, including foliate scrolls, masks, and classical motifs typical of the Napoleon III period.
The vitrine is fitted with four glazed doors opening to velvet-lined interior shelves, ideal for the display of fine porcelain, bronzes, or objets d’art. Each door is flanked by fluted columns with ormolu capitals and bases, and the top is finished with a cutout glass panel to allow natural illumination into the interior.
