A handsome antique American redware milk pitcher finished in a deep, glossy iron-brown glaze often referred to as “Albany-type.” Heavy, unmarked, and entirely handmade, it reflects the practical beauty of late-19th-century rural pottery—likely from Pennsylvania, Ohio, or the upper Midwest.
