This set of six (6) authentic antique 18th century sepia mezzotints by Claude de Lorrain (France/Italy 1600-1682 Listed) depicts the Tuscany countryside and imaginary harbor scenes he used as the setting for his series of imaginary drawings entitled "Liber Veritatas". The drawings were actually created in Tuscany in the 1600's. Here we have harbor and pastoral images. They were printed in London by Boydell Engravers in the late 1700's. Each is dated and they are printed on one side only on handmade "laid" paper. Please view our other listings from this series. These are authentic antique prints and NOT newer reproductions. Great for a larger wall treatment or several smaller groupings. Dimensions: 16.25" x 10.5".
