Antique small rose pin with c-clasp. Unmarked.
Gold tone aged stem and leaves with beautiful patina contrasting against the true red floral enamel petals.
The underside is textured showcasing higher craftsmanship.
This style of clasp was widely used on brooches from the late 19th century and into the early 20th century, before the introduction of safety catches and rolling lock mechanisms.
Condition notes:
Consistent with age and use- A small loss of paint on edge of bottom petal. Initially thought it was light-reflection. Patina -aged metal.
