Offered is an iconic early 1960s Danish Teak wood bowl, designed by Jens h. Quistgaard for Dansk. This is the largest in this series, and while perfectly food safe for a lifetime of salads, it is a stunning sculptural design and worthy of display on a console or as a centerpiece bowl. The shape can best be described as a cylinder, and the upper rim has a slight overhang, making it appear thicker, but giving more space for a voluminous salad and avoiding spilling of dressing or salad contents.
Measures 13" diameter, 4.75" tall, the upper rim is 1.125" deep

Has been cleaned and conditioned with food safe oil. Please never, ever, EVER place this bowl in a dishwasher. Hand wash and dry immediately. Teak is an amazing wood and will last forever if cared for properly. less
