This is a very good antique early 20th Century solid mahogany dual tilt top banquet dining room table with 2 … Read more This is a very good antique early 20th Century solid mahogany dual tilt top banquet dining room table with 2 leaves, c1930s. Measuring 48 X 72 with reeded edges and standing on large 4-legged pedestals ending in a brass cap foot and standing on casters. Table is runner-less and has 2 support bars for leaves that easily remove to tilt tables and move out the way. Originally, formal tables like this were made for banquet halls and easily and rapidly removed after dinner for dancing and/or other events. Older refinishing on top but does show some minor signs of age and use. Nice mahogany patina. The 2 leaves measure 18 inches wide each with one having some issues on the edge. (see photo).
