The vintage pattern is Shell & Gardoon and was crafted by Seridan in New Jersey, USA. This vintage silverplated tea tray is very large with a decorated edge, decorative floral / shell shapes and a rope design on the edge along with ornate feet accented with elaborate handles. This tray is marked with the makers name but has stamps stating "silver on copper". The stamps are hard to read but is this shows the Sheridan S some.

The tray is large measuring: 29 inches wide x 17 inches deep x 3.0 inches tall. The flat part of the inside of the tray measures: 19 inches x 13.25. This is in wonderful condition

The size and weight of this tea tray does make it heavy and not a tray to be easily carried around, and more of a statement piece to hold a tea set, as a centerpiece for candles or on a coffee table to hold large decorative items. This surely will please any owner and be enjoyed for years to come!
