This Gladding McBean tile-top table is in exceptional original condition, showcasing the craftsmanship and artistry of the late 1920s. The centerpiece features a striking tableau of a majestic Spanish Galleon navigating the open ocean, rendered in rich, vivid glazes typical of Gladding McBean’s finest work. The scene is framed by a beautifully detailed claycraft-style border that complements the nautical theme. The table retains its original hand-forged wrought iron base, adding both authenticity and architectural charm. Circa 1926–1929, this piece is a rare and highly collectible example of California tile artistry at its peak.
