The craftsmanship, condition, and aesthetic unity of the ensemble place it in the upper tier of comparable market examples.

It displays outstanding architectural composition and craftsmanship. All major pieces are richly ornamented with finely carved pediments, fluted columns, garlands, floral wreaths, and acanthus scrolls. Veneer panels are book-matched in a diamond pattern, typical of high-end continental furniture from the late 19th century.
