The finish is chippy and rusty which adds to the mystique and story. They are not wired but do have holes that would allow for internal wires. They also could and have been used as candle holders. The base has holes for screws to attach the sconces. The opportunities for the aged beauties is endless. The measurements are 12" wide 8" high and the base is 4" wide. See less
