A beautifully redone and reupholstered wing back chair designed by Edward Wormley for Dunbar in the late 1950’s. The legs are nicely sculpted with an angled side. They are made of walnut we believe. Nicely grained. There are some marks from age and use to the legs. The chair has been redone in a lovely high quality Schumacher Dixon Mohair Weave in a Stone color. The fabric content is 45% Wool, 40% Mohair, 15% Polyamide. It is a luxurious fabric with a very soft and rich hand and feel.
It is pictured in our gallery next to a Knoll Saarinen Womb chair and a Hans Wegner Ox Chair for scale. Both of these other chairs are available for purchase separately on this site.
The ottoman measures 25x19 inches in dimension and approximately 12.5inches tall, and is angled.
