this exquisite and rare “vase with feathers” by renate weidner (german, b. 1943) is a remarkable example of her innovative and poetic approach to contemporary ceramics. Created in 2004, the piece seamlessly merges refined ceramic craftsmanship with organic materiality. The flared vessel is delicately adorned with a crown of natural feathers, creating a striking interplay between structure and fragility, tradition and experimentation.
