Each artwork exemplifies the traditional huaniao hua (花鸟画) style, showcasing vibrant peony blossoms accompanied by elegant songbirds amid leafy branches—a motif celebrated for symbolizing prosperity, beauty, and harmony in Chinese culture.

Executed in fine pigments on silk, these prints combine masterful drawing with delicate color washes, capturing the dynamic interplay between flora and fauna. The back of the prints bear handwritten provenance from Zhanjiang and inventory catalog numbers.

A detailed chop (seal) mark and calligraphic signature are visible on each print, authenticating the works in the tradition of regional Chinese scroll art. These pieces reflect the rich artistic heritage of Guangdong and offer an affordable, decorative entry point into classic Chinese flower-and-bird painting. See less
