: Exceptional stoneware vase designed by Anna-Lisa Thomson for Upsala-Ekeby in 1935. Produced only in a few examples that year, this piece showcases Thomson’s refined sense of form and glaze. The vase features a sculptural, faceted body in a softly mottled beige glaze, complemented by expressive handles in a glossy terracotta red. A striking example of Thomson’s early modernist ceramic design — balancing architectural structure with organic glaze texture. Marked and in excellent vintage condition with minimal signs of age. Provenance: Upsala-Ekeby, Sweden, 1935 Designer: Anna-Lisa Thomson (1905–1952) This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
