Victorian era inkwell made from the hoof and mounted with brass fittings.
It is inscribed EGYPT on the mount.
Very interesting piece for the mancave or rustic decor.
All intact. with nice tone to the brass. Could use a polishing if so desired for a brighter finish.
Hoof measures 5.75" long x 3.5" wide and 3.5" tall.
