Hans J. Wegner famous and beautiful chair is an adaptation of an old Chinese chair of the Ming dynasty; “China Chair”. A very comfortable armchair made in black painted. Loose seat cushions new upholstered with indian red aniline leather, fitted with buttons. Model 4283. Designed in 1944. Manufactured by Fritz Hansen. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
