This is a framed reproduction botanical engraving by Abraham Munting (1626-1683), a Dutch botanist and artist.
Munting's engravings are known for their unique style, which depicts plants against a backdrop of classical or pastoral landscapes.
The engravings are often from his work Naauwkeurige Beschryving Der Aardgewassen, which was published posthumously in 1696.
