1950’s Jaroslav Šmídek Original Sprung Armchairs In A Geometric Check Fabric. Sourced direct in the Czech republic this is one of Šmídek’s most elegant designs. We carefully select very original armchairs ensuring the fabrics and upholstery are in excellent original condition. The frame is beech throughout and the arms have been cleaned and waxed but retain their original character. The upholstery is completely original and has been deep cleaned by our workshop team. Seat Height: 42cm

Our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that everything leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
