Sourced direct in the Czech republic this is one of … Read more 1950’s Jaroslav Šmídek Original Re-Upholstered Armchairs In Grey Cotton Velvet. Sourced direct in the Czech republic this is one of Smidek’s most elegant designs. We carefully select very original armchairs ensuring the frames are in excellent original condition and then reupholster them. The frame is beech throughout and the arms have been cleaned and waxed but retain their original character. The upholstery is a new cotton velvet which has been reupholstered by us. When reupholstering we inspect all internal components and replace as required. To comply with UK fire regulations the internal components are covered in a flame retardant barrier cloth. Seat Height: 41cm.
