Made for Durkin’s Whiskies & Wines of 121 Howard Street — one of Spokane’s earliest and most celebrated spirits merchants, established shortly after the Great Fire of 1889.

Durkin’s advertising bottles and barware are prized among Northwest collectors, and this salt-glazed jug represents the distillery’s earlier pre-Prohibition distribution era.
It features a classic salt glaze finish, applied handle, and bold stenciled lettering with the full street address (Howard, Wall & Sprague).

Displays beautifully with authentic age and character — a rare survivor of Spokane’s frontier-era liquor trade.

Condition:
Good antique condition with expected age wear.

Chip to shoulder and small loss inside handle.

Flea bites around lip interior.

No cracks or repairs.
Minor glaze pops and tool marks from firing typical of the period.
