Beautiful and crisp 19th C. mediterranean pottery centerpiece bowl in layered greens and browns.

11.75" diameter, 3.5" tall.

Glazed finish on top with fired raw clay on the underside.

Has a vineyard or orchard theme, and it's easy to imagine it overflowing with olives or citrus fruit.

Gorgeous green on green - tone on tone, with an underlay of moss brown infused with shade and shadow.

Excellent finish and condition for it's age and material - sturdy, and bright. Shows only minor marks of age and character.

My husband and I have been blessed to spend some time in Greece, Italy, Spain and Portugal. The ceramics in each of those beautiful countries are unique and memorable, and we use some of each in our homes.
