This charming and authentic antique miniature Singer sewing machine dates to the early 20th century (circa 1910s–1920s). Made of cast iron with nickel-plated metal fittings, this compact hand-crank model was crafted by The Singer Manufacturing Co. as both a working toy and a demonstration machine for classrooms and traveling seamstresses.
Though small in scale, these machines were fully operational when new, capable of sewing light fabrics with simple straight stitches. This example has not been tested for functionality, and is being offered as a decorative and historical collectible rather than a working sewing tool.
The piece retains its original black enamel finish, gold Singer lettering and trade mark decal, and yellow felt base. The crank wheel turns smoothly, and the patina across the metal surfaces is consistent with genuine age and use.
A lovely piece of early 20th-century craftsmanship and design — perfect for display on a bookshelf, sewing table, or within a vintage textile collection. Its sculptural presence and historical resonance make it a standout artifact from the golden era of Singer innovation.
