It celebrates the 25th wedding anniversary of Grace Kelly and prince Rainier lll in April 1956. Following the ceremony, she became Her Serene Highness,Princess Grace of Monaco. Carl Faberge is the grandson of the master goldsmith, Peter Carl Faberge who was the famous artist for the Russian Imperial Family. Due to his admiration of the beautiful Princess of Monaco, Carl made this Princess Grace Rose to mark the 25th anniversary of the couple. Made in 24k-gold plated sterling silver adorned with pearls and green enamel leaves and mounted on a green marble base. There were only 750 made of this limited edition piece. Inscribed underneath reads Serial No 14/750 meaning this is number 14 of 750 ever made. See less
