My mom and dad purchased the … Read more This is a Limited Edition, Theo Faberge Winter Egg from the St. Petersburg Collection. My mom and dad purchased the beautiful Faberge Egg in Paris, France in 1984. It’s been a treasured keepsake in the family for generations. This was made in the early 1900’s, right before the 1917 Russian Revolution when communism took its start. It has been through extraordinary history. Made of beautiful cobalt and clear Crystal, painted in gold, adorned with a miniature size Imperial Crown of Russia on top and inside the Egg. The interior houses a sterling silver plate housing another miniature Imperial Crown of Russia that is the winding mechanism. Inscribed on the bottom reads No. 138 and signed by the artist, Theo Faberge. See less
