American Victorian Gothic Revival hall chest, console table or cabinet. Circa 1870s. Features a rectangular form made from walnut with a hand dovetailed inset paneled drawer flanked by grape carvings, over a lower cabinet with gothic style arched door. The cabinet opens to one shelf for accessory storage. The upper drawer features brass knocker pulls. Drawer is hand planed along the underside.
