Hand-carved exposed frame with whimsical palms at the wing tips is accented with large-scale botanical print placed seamlessly across the back; interior in deep sapphire velvet pulls out colors from the pattern at the back.

The chair was completely stripped and reupholstered. All internal padding, foam and fabrics are new. Goose down cushion has an invisible zipper closure.

The exterior back and wings are done in authentic Schumacher designer linen - a large-scale botanical/Chinoiserie print in tones of indigo, plum, and slate, placed to ensure the pattern flows seamlessly across the entire back. The seat and channel-tufted inner back are upholstered in a 100% cotton quality deep navy blue velvet - matching the color tone present in the Schumacher print. The design is unique to this chair, with a lot of thought given to the pattern placement in order to highlight both the beauty of the historic frame and the fabric itself.

Condition: New Upholstery on a sturdy, original vintage frame. New goose down cushion.
