One features a wheat-and-grass motif with traces of its original green inlay, measuring approximately 11¼″ in diameter. The second, slightly larger at 12″, displays a hand-tooled leaf garland encircling a stylized blossom medallion and is signed “Dorothy” on the reverse in flowing script.

Both pieces exhibit forged rims, planished surfaces, and the subtle irregularities characteristic of true handwork from the period. The warm natural patina remains untouched — unpolished and authentic, showing over a century of honest age.

Created during the height of the American Craftsman era (c. 1910–1920s), these works embody the movement’s guiding ideals: artistry expressed through honest materials and visible workmanship.

Condition: Light surface wear, gentle bends, and scattered patina marks consistent with age and use. No repairs or over-polishing. One platter retains remnants of an old paper label and hanging loop on the reverse.

Dimensions: 11¼″ and 12″ diameter; approximately ½″ depth.
