It is a … Read more This is an Ornamental Collectibles soup tureen, lid, underplate and matching ladle is an unknown floral pattern. It is a total of four pieces in white or cream with pink and blue flowers and some purple flowers and gold trim. The underplate or tray has two very nicely done handles with gold trim that match the soup tureen base handles. The soup tureen is footed.

The pieces measure:

Tray or underplate is 10.00 inches by 8.25 inches. The tray is just over 14.00 inches from handle to handle.

The soup tureen measures 8.00 inches across by 6.50 inches wide. It is 1.75 inches from handle to handle. The tureen is 4.50 inches tall to the rim and about 2.50 to 2.75 inches deep. Without the underplate-the soup tureen is 8.25 inches tall to the top of the lid. Including the underplate, it is t short of 9.00 inches tall.

The ladle is 8.00 inches long.

The ladle has been damaged and repaired. It has a small chip out of the back and it appears to have been glued back together around where the hole is. I cannot tell if the handle broke completely, or only one side.

One oddity to note-the lid fits better without the ladle in it. This seems strange to me as they all match, but it just fits better wt6ih the ladle elsewhere.

Other than the repairs to the ladle-the soup tureen has no chips, cracks, crazing, or other damage. I have no information on this maker or the age. See less
