Inside bowl depicts classic scenes of … Read more 19th Century Japanese Hand Painted Round Satsuma Bowl. 8 7/8" Diameter. 2 1/2" High. Inside bowl depicts classic scenes of maidens and warriors highlighted with gold designs. Outside bowl highlighted with gold designs. Purchased at Trent Antiques, Melrose Place Los Angeles 1999. No chips, cracks or known restorations. Sight wear to inside bowl and wear to gold designs on outside of bowl do not detract from the overall beauty, sophistication and fine detailed work of the classic design. Please note that 19th Century dating of bowl is based on representation by Trent Antiques as noted on the purchase receipt shown in the last photo. See less
