This exceptional triple wardrobe armoire is a stunning example of French Rococo Revival design, dating to the early 20th century (circa 1910s–1930s). Crafted with an emphasis on ornate beauty and practicality, it features elaborate floral carvings, a flowing silhouette, and a richly grained wood veneer that speaks to its fine craftsmanship. This armoire was built to be as beautiful as it is functional. It would make a dramatic focal point in a bedroom, dressing room, or even a grand hallway.
Key features:
- Three-door configuration with a large exterior mirror mounted on the center door.
- When opened, the right door reveals a full interior mirror.
- Intricately carved floral scrollwork along the crown and skirt, with gilt-painted highlights.
- Burl wood veneer panels with a bookmatched grain on the outer doors and side panels.
- Solid brass shell-style pulls on all interior drawers, echoing the Rococo shell motif.
- Cabinet-style interior layout with adjustable shelving, shallow accessory drawers, and divided compartments.
- Cabriole legs with carved detailing on all sides, enhancing the armoire’s sculptural form.
**This piece is part of a larger matching bedroom suite including a bed frame, tallboy chest and side cabinet – available in separate listings**

The mirrored center door is intact and original, while the interior features a single mirror on the right-side door that remains in good shape, showing only light, typical hazing and wear. The wood finish displays expected signs of age, including minor surface scuffs and scratches. The upper portion of the piece attaches separately, and due to age and movement over its lifetime, the upper right side no longer fits together like a perfect puzzle piece (visible in photos). This is a cosmetic characteristic typical of well-aged antiques rather than a structural issue—the piece remains sturdy, with all drawers and doors functioning properly. One or two carved areas show light finish wear, particularly at the feet—visible in photos. less
