Hot-blown glass pitcher. Amber glass for the body and neck. White opaline glass for the handle and pedestal. Gold trim accentuates the base.
The globular body is topped with a long, slender neck. The spout is finely raised. The twisted handle, made of white opaline glass, is hot-applied. The circular pedestal, made of milk glass, ends with a painted gold border.
A gilt metal medallion is applied to the body. It depicts two heraldic lions supporting a coat of arms. A crown surmounts it. The Latin motto "Providentiae Memor" completes the ensemble.
Italian work from the mid-20th century.
